I also want to thank them on behalf of all of the employees at Aureus Medical and the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of patients whose lives they have affected. That is why for Rad Tech Week, I want to celebrate all of our professional, caring, and thoughtful Radiology Techs, and all the different modalities that they work in. It’s pretty humbling to think of all that our travel employees have done over the years in patient care. The Mammographers who have performed countless screens and biopsies and the Patient Navigators who have helped guide the patient once a diagnosis has been made. Imagine all the patients that have been cared for over the years and all the lives that have been positively affected. A lot of nervous families waiting in waiting rooms have received great news that the procedure was a success.Īll the CT, X-ray, and MRI techs whose diagnostic procedures have helped identify problems and aided in providing a solution to the problem. Let’s be honest, when you as a patient go to the Cath Lab, it’s not a routine procedure there is risk involved. Not to mention the countless invasive procedures performed and lives saved. Can you imagine all of the lives touched, or saved, during that time?Īll the Cath Lab Techs who have gone in and set up Cath, EP, and IR labs and trained staff. This year I wanted to talk about all the wonderful professionals that Aureus Medical employs, and all the hard work and lives saved that are because of the travelers that travel with us.ĭid you know that Aureus Medical has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare staffing? Take a moment to think of all the professionals who have traveled with us over those years. Last year I went over the different modalities of radiology and explained a little bit about each one for those of us that are unfamiliar with them.
